End of The Year Event – Let’s Celebrate and Have Fun!
On December 10th, we held the End of the Year Event at the Madurodam Theme Park in Scheveningen. Madurodam is a miniature park and tourist attraction in Scheveningen, featuring 1:25 scale model replicas of famous Dutch landmarks, historical cities, and significant developments. Approximately 60 people participated in the event, which started by visiting two park attractions opened specially for us after regular closing time (New Amsterdam with a fun history of New York City and the Flying Dutchman simulation of a flight across the country). Back at the party venue, it was time for a short recap of the year's achievements by the Chapter Directors (worth mentioning are a membership increase of 9% and very successful CAPM and Mentorship programs), and then everybody enjoyed a lovely dinner. Awards were presented to the volunteer of the year Wim Maas (congratulations!), and to the winners of the membership survey prizes. The party concluded with the performance of the Latin American singer Gatto Gabriel and the band Mad Pianos, who got everybody singing and dancing. So much fun!
