The Project Management Master’s program and the Community Day at Hogeschool Utrecht are thriving, and this year’s exposition showcased the power of creativity and sustainability. With 27 innovative projects, the event highlighted a diverse range of initiatives; from educational games designed to raise awareness among children about local and seasonal food, to insights into different cultures, and even a guide to assist refugees in integrating and applying for jobs and even a creative method to teach kids how to swim without a swimming pool!

Among the standout projects, the Impact Award Winner designed an innovative game aimed at promoting healthy technology use while discussing its impact on mental health. The Approach Award Winner focused on educating the younger generation about climate change to provide lessons for schools that aim to inspire and inform.

These award-winning projects not only highlight the creative potential of future project managers but also demonstrate the role of project management in driving meaningful social change. The winners will soon join our Chapter to engage with the project management community and connect with professional associations to learn from seasoned professionals.
