Hello PMI members!

My name is Maartje, and I’m thrilled to be part of the PMI Netherlands Chapter as Lead Academic Outreach. In this role, I focus on strengthening connections between students, universities, and the project management field. It’s incredibly rewarding to introduce young professionals to the value of project management and support them as they take their first steps in this dynamic profession.

I'm in the final year of my Master's in Mechanical Engineering at TU Delft, specializing in Multi Machine Engineering. Alongside my studies, I've been actively involved in various committees and board roles within student associations. These experiences have allowed me to work on projects focusing on well-being, entrepreneurship, and academic development, providing me with valuable skills and insights.

What I enjoy about my role at PMI is the opportunity to explore where project management can take me while connecting with other PMI members who represent such a wide range of possibilities. Meeting these inspiring professionals gives me a glimpse into the potential paths I can take. It’s also exciting to help the next generation of PMI professionals grow and to ensure they’ll continue to strengthen and expand PMI in the years to come.

I look forward to meeting more members and exploring these opportunities together! Let's connect: https://www.linkedin.com/in/maartje-janszen/

Best regards,

Maartje Janszen
