Meet our volunteer: Bita Sedaghati
My name is Bita Sedaghati, originally from Iran, and I now work as a Quality Control specialist and Project Lead at Kite Pharma in Hoofddorp.
My professional background combines science, quality management, and project leadership. I graduated as a pharmacist and later earned a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology from Leipzig University. Over the years, I have worked in various Quality roles across the pharmaceutical and biotech industry and on projects. In 2025, I achieved my PMP certification as part of my transition toward a stronger focus on project management and strategic leadership.
I joined the PMI Netherlands chapter as a volunteer because I believe in contributing to the community while continuously learning and growing through collaboration and networking. As Mentorship Program Lead, I am excited to help build a valuable platform that connects and supports professionals within our community.
Outside of work, I am a proud mom and highly value maintaining an active and balanced lifestyle. I enjoy running, working as a Group Fitness Instructor, and expressing my creativity through professional painting and piano. Personal development, continuous learning, and staying physically active are important parts of my life, and I am always motivated to challenge myself and grow both personally and professionally.
