Hi, I’m Melissa Viegas, a PMP-certified Architect and Project Manager with over 17 years of experience delivering infrastructure projects across Asia and the Middle East. I moved to the Netherlands last year and joined PMI Netherlands as a volunteer soon after. 

Having lived and worked in several countries throughout my career, I’ve learned that one of the best ways to settle into a new place is by becoming part of a community. Volunteering with PMI NL has given me the opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals, build meaningful relationships, and create a sense of home away from home.

For me, PMI is much more than a professional network. It’s a community where people share knowledge, support one another, and grow together. I’m grateful to contribute my time and experience while learning from such an inspiring group of volunteers and members. I look forward to meeting many more of you at future PMI NL events!
