Save the Date To Save the Planet
On 8 November 2023, the first PMI Pan European Sustainability Summit will take place. This online and in-person hybrid, 12-hour event will be our chance to come together and build bridges between our chapters and share the good work we are doing across the region. But we will do more. We will be working with organizations, businesses, and academia to create a network of people interested in moving from the “Why” and “What” to the “How.”
The event is a joint initiative from over 6 PMI European Chapters, with more joining every week. We will focus on panelists to share the state of the world today, presentations from experts in the field and in academia, and workshops to move from issue to action.
So please Save the Date, 8 November 2023, and plan to join us. Registration link. Look for more information coming soon.
In the meantime, let’s look at 3 reasons you should attend the pan-European 2023 Sustainability Summit -
Turn your frustration into action.
Frustrated with the state of the world? Maybe you’ve noticed the slow progress toward the 17 UN Sustainability goals. Maybe you are fed up with feeling the issue is “all talk and no action”.
We want to change that. We will work with the Organizations making a difference today, so they can make faster progress in the future. We will focus on working together to improve the outcomes pragmatically and realistically. The Sustainability Summit is the first step to unify PMI across Europe to focus on actionable steps to deliver on the dream of sustainable development.
Make it a learning moment.
Are you trying to learn something new every day? Great, doing so can make you more employable, promotable, and ready to take action. Make this Summit a learning moment.
You will have access to some of the best innovators and organisations. You will hear what students are doing to make the world more sustainable. And you will hear from Project Mangers on how our way of working and tools, such as the PMBoK, can actually fast-track outcomes. These new insights can help you do better and be better. Improving your skills for both current and future projects.
Turn bad news into good news.
The bad news we hear when we turn on the news every night can be soul-crushing. Counter that by joining this community of like-minded people who are looking for answers and working toward better outcomes.
The good news is that together we can make a difference. Join us to see just how you can you can use Projects for Impact in your community.
