Shape the Future of Sustainable Project Management: Take Our 3-Minute Survey
Projects shape the way organizations operate, how resources are used, and how communities experience change. This means project professionals are not only managing delivery, but also influencing long-term value.
As ESG, climate resilience, and social responsibility become part of daily project decisions, there is a growing need to make sustainability practical, measurable, and achievable. To support this, the PMI Netherlands Chapter has a dedicated Social Impact and Sustainability Committee.
Our vision is to build a community where project professionals contribute to positive outcomes for society, the environment, and future generations through practical and responsible project leadership.
Our mission is to inspire, connect, and empower professionals to integrate sustainability and social impact into projects, programs, and decision-making. Through education, collaboration, advocacy, and community action, we aim to help members translate sustainability goals into measurable outcomes that benefit people, the planet, and prosperity.
To turn this mission into action, the committee will focus on three main pillars:
- Educate: Build awareness and capability in sustainable project management through webinars, events, podcasts, and workshops.
- Connect: Create meaningful partnerships between PMI members, chapters, organizations, academia, NGOs, and sustainability leaders.
- Create Impact: Lead and support initiatives that contribute to social good and align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
