Volunteering in the PMI Netherlands Chapter gives me the chance to meet and interact with a broad range of people from diverse backgrounds that all share one profession. As the Deputy Director of Volunteers and Membership, I get the opportunity to talk to and interact with all of our amazing and dedicated volunteers across the chapter. It's a great networking hub and the role provides challenges that keep me entertained outside of my day job.

In the process of fulfilling my duties as a social media volunteer for the Communications Team of the PMI Netherlands Chapter, I had the opportunity to widen my network of project management professionals. Being an active and inquisitive learner myself, this position as a volunteer has also brought me closer to the world of PMI and its abundance of knowledge resources. On the whole, it feels like a very productive use of time outside of my regular studies and work.
