PM For the Future

What is a project? What are Power Skills? What is the Iron Triangle (or “Duivelsdriehoek” in Dutch)? And can you apply these skills by “solving a murder”?

End of March we successfully answered all these questions at a secondary school in the Hague with  a Try Out of our project management education package.

In front of 26 students we interactively discussed and explained project management. What is project management? “Vak of vaardigheid” (profession or skill set)? Anyhow it are Skills for Life!

Project manager, “vak of vaardigheid”? Skills for Life!

As we don’t learn skills by just listening, we practiced by solving a Murder Mystery. Who was best able to organize the team, include all team members and combine the clue cards to solve the riddle even without being able to see everybody?

The winning team received a nice box of chocolates.

We considered the Try Out to be very successful. Feedback we received from both the teacher and the students will be incorporated in a new version.
