Building a better future and a better world

News
PM For the Future

Our social good mission is to empower people through Project Management to enable them to build a better future and contribute to a better world. As Academic Outreach and Education Foundation (AO & EF), we provide project management education to schools, universities, and NGOs.

Why Social Good

The complex global problems we as humans face, cannot be solved anymore as isolated issues or solved by governments alone. Climate Change, rising inequality between people groups, and women's rights are just a few concerns felt worldwide. It takes collaboration and innovation for all of us to achieve the sustainable development goals of the United Nations

More and more employers treat the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability as a compliance and not anymore as a necessity. A company's sustainability and social responsibility mission is increasingly important to (young) talent as compensation.

Besides the above, helping others makes us happier and provides us with a sense of belonging. Visit the PMI EF website and listen to the Ted Talks of Elizabeth Dunn and Brene Brown.

Below are some testimonials of our Educational Foundation volunteers:

Priscilla Bax: "I applied for the NGO team member role to collaborate with passionate individuals to share learnings, best practices, standards, and a common language for project management in the NGO sector around the world. Together we can leverage our skills and capabilities to provide practical guidance for running non-profit developmental projects."

Noémi Nagy: "As a Project Manager working in education for the past 10 + years I am convinced that project management has the power to make positive changes in the world. My aim with joining the PMIEF as a volunteer was to spread the word about the benefits of project management for organizations that have a mission to change the world for the better."

Education Foundation - We provide project management education to secondary schools to teach young students about project life skills.

And last but not least, Young Professional CAPM Program, which you can read more about in the CAPM Young Potentials Program.
