Buddy Program 2nd Edition

ABOUT

 

After receiving great feedback about the pilot run last year, we are launching the 2nd edition of the Buddy Program. Its main objective is to provide you with an informal opportunity to connect with a buddy/buddy lead in order to support and enrich chapter member experience. 

 

The 2nd edition will start end-of-April and will finish by the end-of-July. Every new member (aka Buddy) that enrols will be paired with a Buddy Lead.

  • Orientate new members as to what the Chapter offers
  • Have an initial point of contact (Buddy Lead) for general queries
  • Great way of enhancing new membership satisfaction & longevity in the chapter
  • Increases overall connectivity within the chapter – the new with the experienced members & beyond…

  • ‘Good way to expand your network, to have someone to bring you up to speed and have a conversation about PMI insights’.
  • ‘Good preparation from the organisation’.
  • ‘No strict rules, so the couples can find their way that suits best’.
  • ‘Light and flexible approach’. Time spent during the program will depend on what both Buddy & Buddy Lead agree (e.g. typically about 30-60 mins a month)  

 

100% of the participants that completed the survey done by the end of the pilot program said that they would recommend the Buddy Program to others.  

 

OUTLINE

 

  1. Application Process - until Wednesday 14 of April 2021
  2. Matching Process - until Sunday 18 of April 2021
  3. Kick-off and announcement of Buddy Leads / Buddies pairs - Monday 19 of April 2021
  4. End of the Program - Friday 30 of July.
