Gender Equality for Better Organizational Collaboration
Gender Equality for Better Organizational Collaboration explores
how gender equality can strengthen the way organisations
collaborate, make decisions and deliver projects. Gender
equality is not only about representation or compliance. In
everyday project work, it shapes who has access to
opportunities, whose expertise is heard, who influences
decisions and how change is experienced across teams and
stakeholders. When these conditions are not actively addressed,
valuable perspectives, talent and information can be overlooked.
Drawing on the GPM P5 People dimension, this webinar
translates gender-equality principles into practical project-
management actions, from staffing and team development to
stakeholder engagement, decision-making, change adoption
and responsible technology. Participants will gain concrete
questions and approaches to foster fair participation, stronger
collaboration and more sustainable project outcomes.
Outcomes/Objectives - Explain how gender equality contributes to more
effective organisational collaboration and project
outcomes.
- Identify where unequal access, bias or missing
perspectives may affect projects, from staffing and
requirements to governance and change adoption.
- Apply selected GPM P5 People principles, especially
equal opportunity, empowerment, stakeholder
engagement and responsible technology, to project
practice.
- Select practical actions that strengthen fair access to
opportunity, meaningful participation and transparent
decision-making in their projects.
