About the Speaker
Tony Appleby | Tony is passionate about organizational project management and helping organizations across the globe achieve their business objectives. He has been involved with project / program management and organizational change management engagements on six continents, working with the senior leadership and country executives of Fortune 500 / Global 2000 companies, international not-for-profit associations, and governmental entities. He specializes in organizational maturity and strategic transformation, and has assisted numerous organizations with successfully advancing and transforming their capabilities and effectively achieving business success. He has also spent more than a decade as an advisor to corporate boards of all sizes helping them to enhance their strategy development and execution capabilities. He has performed strategic and operational change management assessments, quantitative risk reviews, and independent verification and validation appraisals in support of global and multinational clients in their market-specific development and product development lifecycle processes, ensuring alignment with corporate business strategies. He has established and redesigned numerous program management offices (PMOs) and has a deep familiarity with organizational change management considerations and corporate governance, specifically in the areas of strategic execution and compliance. He is the Chairman of the Project Management Institute (PMI), serves as an independent non-executive director for two privately held Silicon Valley companies, and has held other executive and non-executive board positions over the past two decades. He is a member of numerous professional organizations and is a Chartered Director and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (UK) as well as a Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors (USA). |
