PM Fair: New PM on the Block – Application of Blockchain in Project Management
There is barely an industry sector which will be left out by the Revolution 4.0. Project Management does not make an exception.
I will analyze its disruption by Blockchain. I will explore how the reduced cost of verification may facilitate settlement and reconciliation processes, and how oracles may solve the last mile problem. I will investigate how the different types of contracts may be automated, how the incentives in the new ecosystem can be tokenized and how they can bootstrap the new digital network.
The target is to analyze PM’s future role and skillset. I hope the COVID-19 pandemic will not lead to a ‘technologic winter’ by investment cutting but will provide a new context and will unfold the full Blockchain and technological myriad potential.
